Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost?

Nothing for the farmer who agrees to share his data, insofar as the cost of the service is borne by third parties (his customers, suppliers, bankers, public authorities) who subscribe to Genesis for the monitoring of parcels or the farm in order to support them in the environmental transition. The farmer benefits from access to all his results for the duration of the contract with them. However, the cost of the service remains at the farmer's expense when he wishes to have parcels noted that are not financed by third parties.

What are my rights to the data?

Genesis is subject to the RGPD on your personal data. This means that you have the right to modify, verify or delete your personal data at any time. You can also share your data for non-commercial purposes (scientific research for example). In this case, the raw data can be used without restriction, and the scores can be used with a mention of Genesis. Sharing for commercial purposes must be done in agreement with Genesis.

Who can see the results of a farmer?

It is the farmer who chooses with whom we share his personal data (customer, technical advisor, supplier, etc.). For the rest, we only share aggregated and anonymised data or trends, without revealing any specific information related to a farm.
